GHANA, UK TRADE AND INVESTMENTS EXHIBITION TO BE HELD IN LONDON

Ghanaian businesses in Ghana have a unique opportunity to market their goods and services to the United Kingdom and European markets, thanks to the Ghana-UK Trade and Investments Exhibition (GHUTEX) event. The showpiece, a premiere trade and investment event designed to showcase products and services of Ghanaian and UK businesses will be held in September 2014.  The exhibition, which would be a three-day event, is aimed at creating and strengthening linkages among businesses from the two countries.

GHUTEX 2014 seeks to provide the platform for businesses in both countries, to network and trade. Aside the exhibition, a business roundtable meeting, led by industry players and prominent leaders across the world, will discuss a wide range of topics including trade, investment, and business opportunities in both markets.

 “The core mission of GHUTEX, London 2014 is to promote international trade and investment through multi-lateral exchanges, strengthen existing linkages, partnerships and co-operation among participants and also to encourage inward investment into Ghana. We remain convinced that this is not only good for business but also good for living standards among participating countries”, noted Mr. Kwabena Afriyie Asamoah, Chief Operations Office and  Director of GHUTEX 2014.

Mr. Akwasi Agyeman, Managing Director of Global Media Alliance, co-organizers of the event noted that ‘building strong business relationships and alliances is undoubtedly a prerequisite for business growth and expansion. The UK and European market holds great business potential and opportunities for Ghanaian businesses. This fair is opportune, as it will connect entrepreneurs in both countries and create linkages for them to grow their businesses. As a company, we have demonstrated our dedication to growing businesses in Ghana through several initiatives, including our annual etv Made in Ghana month, where we celebrate and promote made in Ghana goods and services. The GHUTEX event will take place at Excel London located at the Victoria Docks E16 from 25^th to 28^th September, 2014.
