Vodafone Business Solution for the past three years has been
actively involved in promoting the Polo Sport in Ghana. Vodafone Business
Solutions has partnered with the Accra Polo Club in several tournaments
including the just ended Nigerian Independence Day cup, Open Polo Championship
and the ‘Vodafone Ghana Independence cup’ to broadening awareness of the sports as well
as treating their customers to great and new experience.

voice to the lesser known sports like Polo which we believe has a great growth

in tournaments to broaden awareness of this interesting sport in our country
since it connects us to the passion of some of our customers”. She mentioned
that judging from the just ended VBS Nigerian Independence day cup; the Polo
sport is gaining more recognition and involvement in Ghana.

Polo events to bring more attention and generate interest for the sport in
Ghanaians.
Polo is an equestrian team sport, usually played outdoors, with
four polo players on each team. In the equestrian sport of polo the objective of the game is to move the polo ball
down-field, hitting it through the goal for a score.
